New compact electrospindle ES794 8kW ISO40 to machine Marble and Glass

The HSD Research & Development department, in accordance with the company policy aimed at continual improvement of products and manufacturing processes, has designed an innovative ELECTROSPINDLE for Glass and Marble processing, extremely compact and high performance (Marmomacc Trade Fair, Verona, Italy, 29th September / 2nd October – Hall 2 – Booth F7) .

ADVANTAGES:

EASY INSTALLATION: the body, which is particularly well designed, optimises the service space required. The fixing screw housings at the front allow fast and easy installation of the electrospindle in the machine.
COMPACTNESS and POWER: the electrospindle has limited working dimensions but, at the same time, produces sufficient power to machine Marble and Glass.
VERSATILITY and CONFIGURATION: it is possible to use many different configurations thanks to the different types of Nose (long or standard nose according to the machining and/or tool machine requirements), the cable and use outputs (opposite to the fixing table or at the sides) and sensors/encoders.

TECHNICAL AND DIMENSIONAL DETAIL 

The electrospindle has an extra-strong light-weight alloy body made from a solid piece, surface treated with hard anodic oxidation.

The version with Long Nose has a front flange designed to increase electrospindle penetration in the working area, allowing floating devices for external lubrication and cooling of the tool to be keyed to it. This flange is subjected to special anticorrosion and antiwear treatment.

The electrospindle is liquid cooled by means of a closed circuit.
Tool lubrication and cooling through the tool is standard, by means of the HSD Patented Fluid Distributor (DPC), or alternatively it can be set up for a rotating joint.
